Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition

The Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition (CFAC) is a coalition of financial assistance organizations joining forces to help patients with cancer experience better health and well-being by limiting financial challenges. It educates patients and healthcare providers about existing resources and links to other organizations that can disseminate information about the collective resources of its member organizations.

CancerCare®

CancerCare is a national organization that provides free, professional support services and information to help people manage the emotional, practical, and financial challenges of cancer. Its comprehensive services include case management; counseling and support groups over the phone, online, and in-person; educational workshops; publications; and financial and co-payment assistance. All CancerCare services are provided by master's-prepared social workers and world-leading cancer experts.

Good Days®

Good Days is a national, nonprofit advocacy organization that provides patient assistance and financial resources for life-saving and life-extending treatments to people in need. 

Good Days covers what insurance does not—the co-pays for treatments that can extend life and alleviate suffering. Good Days also has a premium assistance program for patients who need help paying their monthly medical insurance premiums. Its travel assistance program helps pay for travel costs to ensure patients have access to the care they need.

HealthWell Foundation®

When health insurance is not enough, HealthWell Foundation will fill the gap by assisting with co-pays, premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses. It provides financial assistance to help with:

  • Prescription co-pays

  • Health insurance premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance

  • Pediatric treatment costs

  • Travel costs.

Medicine Assistance Tool

Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America created the Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) to provide a dedicated search engine that allows users to search for financial assistance resources available to them, their loved ones, or patients in their lives through the various biopharmaceutical industry programs available for patients who are eligible.

National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD)

NORD is a patient advocacy organization dedicated to individuals with rare diseases and the organizations that serve them. NORD, along with its more than 300 patient organization members, is committed to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare disorders through programs of education, advocacy, research, and patient services.

Patient Access Network Foundation
