    This site contains kidney cancer overview, factsheets, key statistics for kidney cancer, signs and symptoms, what’s new in research, and additional resources and tools for both clinicians and patients.
  • American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) – Cancer.Net
    ASCO’s patient information website – Cancer.Net – brings the expertise and resources of ASCO to people living with kidney cancer and those who care for and about them. Well-informed patients are their own best advocates and invaluable partners for physicians. Cancer.Net provides timely, comprehensive information to help patients and families make informed health care decisions.
  • CancerCare
    CancerCare® is the leading national organization dedicated to providing free, professional support services including counseling, support groups, educational workshops, publications and financial assistance to anyone affected by cancer. The kidney cancer page of the organization’s website provides counseling, support group, financial assistance, community program information, and more.
  • Cancer Support Community
    The Cancer Support Community (CSC) is an international nonprofit dedicated to providing support, education, and hope to people affected by cancer. The CSC offers a menu of personalized services and education for all people affected by cancer.
  • Kidney Cancer Association
    The Kidney Cancer Association is the world’s first international charity dedicated specifically to the eradication of death and suffering from renal cancers. The association's website provides information and resources for providers, patients, and family members of patients with renal cell carcinoma.
    • Kidney Cancer Association Drug Information Sheets
      Several therapeutics are used to treat advanced kidney cancer. The following Drug Information Sheets and Side Effect Sheets (PDFs) will help you to learn more about these products, including common side effects that users may experience.
  • Medline Plus
    MedlinePlus, the National Institutes of Health’s website for patients and their families, includes information on renal cell carcinoma. This site includes an interactive tutorial (slide show with voice-over and graphics) explaining the process and structure of clinical trials.
  • National Cancer Institute (NCI)
    Information on kidney cancer from the National Cancer Institute (part of the National Institutes of Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services). NCI coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and their families.
  • National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Guidelines
    The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®), a not-for-profit alliance of 25 of the world's leading cancer centers, is dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of care provided to patients with cancer. NCCN Guidelines are a comprehensive set of guidelines detailing the sequential management decisions and interventions that currently apply to 97 percent of cancers affecting patients in the United States.
  • National Kidney Foundation
    The National Kidney Foundation is the leading organization in the U.S. dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease for hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals, millions of patients and their families, and tens of millions of Americans at risk.
