The following links provide resources to help providers educate their patients bout available financial assistance programs.

  • BenefitsCheckUp
    BenefitsCheckUp is a free service of the National Council on Aging (NCOA),which asks a series of questions to help identify benefits that could save patints money and cover the costs of everyday expenses. After answering the questions, patients receive a custom report that describes the available assistance programs.
  • Cancer Insurance Checklist
    Supported by over 30 professional advocacy, education and research organizations in the field of oncology, the Cancer Insurance Checklist tool is available today to help patients make educated decisions when selecting a plan, balancing both their health needs and their budgets.
  • NeedyMeds
    NeedyMeds helps people who are in need of assistance with affording their medications and health care costs. Through partnerships with a variety of organizations nationwide, NeedyMeds’ presence has had a positive impact on many local communities.
  • Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation
    The PAN Foundation is dedicated to providing underinsured patients with co-payment assistance through nearly 60 disease-specific programs that give them access to the treatments they need.
  • Partnership for Prescription Assistance
    The Partnership for Prescription Assistance helps qualifying patients without prescription drug coverage get the medicines they need for free or nearly free. The mission of the Partnership for Prescription Assistance is to increase awareness of patient assistance programs and boost enrollment of those who are eligible.
  • Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF)
    Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) provides professional case management services to Americans with chronic, life threatening and debilitating illnesses. PAF case managers serve as active liaisons between the patient and their insurer, employer and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job retention and/or debt crisis matters as they relate to their diagnosis also assisted by doctors and healthcare attorneys. Patient Advocate Foundation seeks to safeguard patients through effective mediation assuring access to care, maintenance of employment and preservation of their financial stability.
  • Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) Co-Pay Relief (CPR)
    PAF CPR provides direct financial assistance to qualified patients, assisting them with prescription drug co-payments their insurance requires relative to their diagnosis. CPR counselors work directly with the patient as well as with the provider of care to obtain necessary medical, insurance, and income information to advance the application in an expeditious manner.
  • RxAssist
    RxAssist offers a comprehensive database of the patient assistance programs run by pharmaceutical companies to provide free medications to people who cannot affod them.
  • RxHope
    RxHope is a highly professional team of caring and concerned people dedicated to making the patient assistance process as easy and comfortable as possible for the patient, the healthcare provider and the pharmaceutical company. RxHope is the largest independent web-based patient assistance resource, processing, fulfilling and tracking the requests of patients in need.
  • RxOutreach
    Rx Outreach is a fully-licensed mail order pharmacy that is committed to making the use of prescription drugs safer and more affordable. Rx Outreach is not a prescription insurance program nor an Internet pharmacy. Rx Outreach was developed to provide a safe, affordable, and easy way for people of all ages to get medicines they need. The program offers prescription medicines to uninsured and underinsured individuals and families, as well as those who have limited prescription drug coverage.
