Advisory Committee

Rachelle Gill, Appeals Coordinator at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. In this role she works closely with each patient experiencing access to care barriers created by their insurance coverage policies.   Rachelle has seen first-hand the reality of financial toxicity when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, and again in 2019 with ovarian cancer followed by a recurrence in 2021.  She draws on this experience and her expertise to advocate for fair access to benefits for each patient she has the pleasure to serve. Rachelle Gill has been with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (formerly Seattle Cancer Care Alliance) since fall 2016.
