BenefitsCheckUp Medicare Rx Extra Help Application

Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (also known as Part D) helps pay for patients' prescription medicine(s). If patients have enrolled or can enroll in Medicare Part D and have limited incomes and resources, they may be able to get "Extra Help" with their prescription drug costs. To get this help, patients must be enrolled in a Medicare prescription drug plan. Patients may be able to get extra help paying for prescription drug costs if:

  • Their income is less than $20,625 if single or $27,705 if married. If patients live in Alaska or Hawaii, they may still get help even if their income is higher than these limits.

  • They have resources less than $15,510 if single or $30,950 if married.

Begin by applying online.
