Clinical Trial Resources

The following websites allow you to search for the renal cell carcinoma clinical trials. In addition, individual cancer centers and hospitals that conduct clinical trials may maintain listings of those trials on their websites.

  • American Cancer Society—Clinical Trial Matching Service
    This is a free, program that helps patients and providers find cancer clinical trials. Through a partnership with eviti, Inc., ACS locates treatment trials as well as prevention and detection trials based on information supplied through an online screening questionnaire.
  • CenterWatch
    A comprehensive listing of industry-sponsored trials being conducted in the U.S. and internationally. The database is searchable by disease, therapeutic area, or location. A free Patient Notification Service is available that will automatically email a patient as soon as a clinical trial is posted that matches the medical condition and geographic area that is specified. Other patient education resources are available.
  • Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups
    The Coalition is comprised of members from 10 National Cancer Institute-sponsored Cooperative Groups, the country’s leading patient advocacy organizations, and thousands of oncology and cancer research specialists. The Coalition works with its partners in the healthcare industry to streamline and promote cancer clinical trials in both the public and private sectors.
  • National Cancer Institute
    The National Cancer Institute maintains a listing of 12,000 open trials. The list includes trials supported by NCI, pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and other research organizations. A video guide for completing the online search form is available and assistance is available through a toll-free number and LiveHelp online chat options.
  • National Institutes of Health
    ClinicalTrials.gov is a service of the National Institutes of Health and a registry and results database of publicly and privately supported clinical trials. The database contains studies being conducted in all 50 states and internationally in more than 150 countries.
