Linda Frisk, PharmD, is Pharmacy Manager at Ironwood Research and Cancer Centers in Phoenix, Arizona. Ironwood includes 10 sites of service and one central medically integrated dispensing (MID) location that services all 10 sites. There are 53 medical oncologists and advanced practice providers, 10 radiation oncologists, 8 breast surgeons, and 3 gynecological oncologists as well as urologists within the Ironwood practice. Linda’s role is similar to her prior management role with the addition of an increased emphasis on providing clinical education to the nursing and pharmacy teams. Linda has helped to incorporate therapeutic biosimilars into the practice to comply with payer requirements.

Previously, she served as Pharmacy Manager with Arizona Oncology. Dr. Frisk came to Arizona Oncology in 2004. She was pharmacy manager for their infusion clinics in Phoenix, northern Arizona sites and Tucson area. She was responsible for the drug management for 20 oncology sites as well as implementing in-office dispensing of oral chemotherapy in 12 locations throughout the state. During this time, Linda worked on helping to create a USP <800> mixing site and developed centralized admixture distribution at a substantial reduction of drug waste.

Prior to that, Dr. Frisk spent over 20 years as a hospital pharmacist, working in Med-Surg, ICU, and Oncology Services.

She received her PharmD degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Clara Lambert is an active member of the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+). She participates in the Conference Planning, Policy and Advocacy (co-chair of Advocacy), and Technology Committees, as well as speaking on financial navigation and other topics.

She is also the director of financial navigation at TailorMed. Previously, she spent seven years as a financial navigator in Michigan and Illinois hospital systems.

In 2013, she helped to pioneer a nationally recognized financial navigation program at the Cowell Family Cancer Center in Traverse City, Michigan. In 2018, she moved to the Chicagoland area to work as a financial navigator at the Bhorade Cancer Center at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, and was asked to work with a task force to implement financial navigation technology throughout the Advocate Aurora healthcare system.

Clara has been influential in the development of the role of financial navigator at her cancer centers, hospital systems, and nationwide. She was recognized in 2019 with an Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators (AONN+) Leadership Council Award: Putting Evidence into Practice. Previously, she served as chair of the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) Financial Advocacy Network Advisory Committee (2018-2019).

She has a bachelors degree in Integrated Professional Studies: Business, Healthcare Administration & Information Technology from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Michael Reff, RPh, MBA, is the Founder and Executive Director of the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association, Inc. (NCODA). NCODA is the first patient-centered organization dedicated to shaping the value proposition for medically integrated oncology practices. NCODA supports a membership of over 2,000 healthcare practitioners employed at over 500 practice settings. Previously, Michael established The Patient Rx Center at Hematology/Oncology Associates of Central New York, a medically integrated oncology pharmacy service focused on positive patient experiences with oral oncolytics.

Michael serves on the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Steering Committee. He also served on the Association of Community Cancer Centers' Editorial Board, Governmental Affairs Committee, the Advisory Committee for ACCC's Improving Quality Care in Renal Cell Carcinoma education program, and Dispensing Pharmacy Project Committee. He shares his passion for patients through delivering presentations and publishing articles addressing the importance of the continuity of care for oral oncolytics. Michael has extensive pharmaceutical industry experience, spanning many disciplines including oncology research, corporate compliance, international supply chain and biologics manufacturing.
