3 Tips to Help Leaders Make Core Values More Than Just Words

  1. Make core values a daily conversation. Normalize these discussions in huddles, meetings, and feedback.
  2. Address disruptive behavior in the moment. Respectfully say, “That behavior didn’t align with our value of respect. Let’s reset.”
  3. Reinforce with recognition. Start meetings by sharing examples of team members who have demonstrated core values in action.
