Rockville, MD — The Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) announces the recent hiring of Colleen Cancio as Director of Development and Strategic Alliances. In her new role, Colleen will work to ensure sustainability for ACCC’s key educational programs and initiatives, with specific emphasis on the organization’s efforts to expand access to clinical trials in oncology and to improve cancer care among geriatric patients. Colleen will also be responsible for establishing and growing collaborations between ACCC and organizations that share our mission of supporting healthcare providers and their patients along the cancer care continuum.
“The addition of Colleen to the ACCC Development Team allows us to provide our membership – which includes a majority of the cancer care providers in the U.S.– with high quality educational content and practice support,” said Neil Gottlieb, Chief Development Officer at ACCC. “Her unique expertise includes the alignment of key resources and stakeholders to address the most pressing educational needs and practice gaps in the oncology community. We are very excited to have her insights and creative energy serving our membership.”
