Vaccination of Healthcare Workers Statement

Vaccinations have been shown to mitigate the impact of recent COVID-19 variants. At the same time, increases in hospitalizations, primarily of unvaccinated populations, has put incredible strain on the healthcare system. As an organization that represents the entire multidisciplinary cancer care team who provide care for often immunocompromised individuals due to their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment, the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) is in support of mandatory vaccination for healthcare workers. We support all healthcare and long-term care employers requiring their workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
