Association of Community Cancer Centers Announces 47th Annual Meeting & Cancer Center Business Summit

Dr. Kavita Patel to Kick off Virtual Meeting with Cancer Center Leaders to Discuss Oncology’s Post-Pandemic Future

Rockville, MD – The Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) today announced the agenda for its 47th Annual Meeting & Cancer Center Business Summit (AMCCBS Virtual), to be held March 1 – 5, 2021. Healthcare executives, industry leaders, and cancer care providers from across the country will convene to discuss the forces shaping the future of healthcare delivery.

Kavita Patel, MD, MS, FACP, Fellow and Managing Director of the Center for Health Policy at the Brookings Institution, will open the meeting with a keynote address on the future of federal healthcare policy, discussing issues related to value-based care, the Most Favored Nation (MFN) Model, the OCM/OCF and Radiation Oncology (RO) Models, drug pricing, the 340B drug discount program, telehealth, site-neutral payment policies, Stark Law and statute reforms.

The agenda, developed by leading oncology experts and cancer care professionals from diverse backgrounds, locations, and organizations, will cover hot-button issues impacting cancer programs and practices in the COVID-19 era and the strategies needed to emerge positioned for success post-pandemic. Attendees will interact with leading experts in provocative discussions and learn to better anticipate the future of personalized care, bring new innovations to patients and create value for programs.
