Background

Patients who engage in decision making are more likely to experience confidence in treatment decisions, satisfaction with treatment, and trust. The Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) conducted a survey to explore multidisciplinary team attitudes and practices around shared decision- making (SDM) and health literacy.
