Title: Medical Director – Oncology Clinical Trials

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Description:

The Christ Hospital Health Network (TCHHN) is seeking a Medical Director of Oncology Clinical Trials to join The Christ Hospital Research Institute (TCHRI) and our expanding medical and hematology oncology physician practice located in the Greater Cincinnati area. We are a compassionate, dedicated group committed to providing the highest quality care in the region. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, outstanding, motivated clinician who will be able to work in a collaborative environment. Candidate must be board eligible or certified in medical oncology and able to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License and DEA. This position will include a highly competitive compensation with a full benefits package.

This physician will provide clinical, administrative, teaching and research services that further TCHHN’s charitable purposes and strategic goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing high quality cancer care services, improving access to clinical trials and cancer research in the service area, supporting outreach, leading clinical research and innovations in cancer care and supporting cancer education.

The Medical Director of Oncology Clinical Trials will lead research and development efforts for cancer care for TCHRI. The core responsibilities include developing initiatives that provide strategic research direction, to develop a comprehensive program for research and development for cancer care, and to coordinate and lead research efforts for the Oncology Service Line. It is the expectation that the Medical Director of Oncology Clinical Trials will develop a comprehensive research program that will be one of the pillars of a best-in-class research platform for a community hospital.
