Patient Assistance Program

myAbbVie Assist

AbbVie is committed to helping patients get the medicines they need. That’s why it offers patient assistance programs that provide free AbbVie medicines to qualifying patients.

The program supports patients who:

  • Are being treated by a licensed United States healthcare provider on an outpatient basis and prescribed an AbbVie medicine that is included in an assistance program
  • Have limited or no health insurance coverage
  • Live in the U.S.
  • Demonstrate qualifying financial need (View income criteria for the program online).

If patients have insurance, the program will review their qualifying financial need based on a combination of insurance coverage, household income, and out-of-pocket medical expenses during the application process.

To apply, return the completed application, available in English or Spanish, via fax to 1.866.483.1305.

Upon review of a completed application, the program will notify the prescriber and patient about eligibility. If approved, it will ship the medication to the prescriber’s office.

Contact myAbbVie Assist at 1.800.222.6885, Monday through Friday, for additional assistance.

Reimbursement Assistance

Support Plus

When healthcare providers enroll patients into the Support Plus program, they will be assigned a dedicated specialist who can:

  • Serve as patients' personal contact for support, as often as they need it
  • Help patients understand what to expect when taking Lupron Depot
  • Connect patients to resources for insurance support.

Benefits Verification and More

With Support Plus, healthcare providers will receive:

  • Patient benefit investigations
  • Precertification and prior authorization management
  • Reimbursement support
  • Claims appeal assistance.

Whether it’s Medicare Advantage or private insurance, Support Plus supports healthcare providers and their offices by helping to manage the procurement process.

To enroll patients, fax the completed Support Plus enrollment form to 866.867.0465. Patients will receive a call within one business day from a specialist to confirm enrollment.

Contact your AbbVie sales representative to learn more or call the program at 1.844.458.7876 with your questions.
