    This phone helpline is open Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (ET). Patients and family members can all as often as needed. LUNGevity offers tools to help patients navigate their lung cancer diagnosis. Callers can speak with an oncology social worker for help to better understand lung cancer and its treatment, learn new ways to cope with lung cancer, manage emotions such as anxiety or sadness, improve communication with their healthcare team, talk to their families about lung cancer, find reliable information, locate useful resources in thir communities, and manage financial challenges.

Based on those results, patients are matched to a treatment being tested on Lung-MAP. If there isn’t a genomic “match,” patients have an option of receiving immunotherapy treatments used in the trial.
