Ashley Wigle is the Financial Counselor for Oncology/Hematology with Hannibal Clinic-Blessing Health System, James E. Cary Cancer Center. She has been in the healthcare industry for two years, starting in the patient accounts department and working up to financial counselor. Ashley helps with the supplementation of financial resources for patients’ medical needs, specifically drug coverage along with assisting in acquiring additional funding when needed. She also helps with the prevention of revenue loss within the facility. Ashley is a graduate of the ACCC Financial Advocacy Network Boot Camp, and is continuing to research, study and find new ways to ease the burden and financial toxicity away from our patients.
