Tara Simon RN, BSN, OCN, has worked in oncology throughout her entire nursing career. Currently, she serves as the full-time Genitourinary Oncology Nurse Navigator at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Her primary focus is on adult patients with kidney, prostate, bladder, and testicular cancer. She has maintained certifications in oncology and chemotherapy administration since 2002. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
