Additionally, she has a background in HIV malignancies and served as a member of the AIDS Malignancy Consortium. At the International Conference on Malignancies in AIDS and Other Acquired Immunodeficiencies, Dr. Shimabukuro presented her clinical research on AIDS-associated Kaposi Sarcoma.
