Patricia Rice is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner and board-certified advanced practice nurse in genetics. She serves as the clinical director of Precision Medicine and Genetics at Frederick Health in Frederick, Maryland. Her clinical interests include hereditary genetics, precision medicine, research, and health and wellness. Her interests also include population health initiatives that positively impact the health of the community and the emotional wellbeing of patients and families coping with genetic disorders.
Ms. Rice holds an oncology nursing certification from the Oncology Nursing Society. She is also affiliated with the International Society of Nurses in Genetics, City of Hope Community of Clinical Practice, University of Maryland Nursing School, Johns Hopkins Nursing School, and the Salisbury State University Nursing School.
Ms. Rice earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Catholic University of America and her master’s degree and post-graduate degree in adult health/nursing practitioner from the University of Maryland.
