Dr. Ingram currently serves as the President of the Virginia Association of Hematology Oncology (VAHO) and on the Board of Directors of the Community Oncology Alliance.
Dr. Richard Ingram grew up in Upstate New York and attended Hartwick College. He attended medical school at State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Syracuse followed by his internal medicine internship and chief medical residency in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Ingram completed oncology and hematology fellowships at the University of Virginia and joined Shenandoah Oncology Associates in 2002. He has been in a community-based independent practice since first serving patients in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and surrounding communities in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.
