Hilda Haynes-Lewis, PhD,ANP-BC, AOCNP, currently works as a nurse practitioner in radiation oncologyand is the primary provider in the Prostate Survivorship program in theMontefiore Einstein Cancer Center. She is an assistant professor of radiationoncology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has worked as anoncology nurse for over 30 years.
Dr. Haynes-Lewis’ research focuses on the impactsupportive care needs and distress on older adults with advanced cancer. Dr.Haynes-Lewis has presented nationally on the topics of palliative care,radiation oncology, prostate cancer, symptom management and survivorship. Shehas published numerous articles on varies topics related to cancer care.
Dr. Haynes-Lewis received her bachelor’s degreefrom Alfred University, a graduate degree from Columbia University with aconcentration in oncology nursing, and her PhD from University of Utah with agraduate certificate in gerontology.
