The Texas Society of Clinical Oncology Abstract Competition is now open for fellows, residents and medical students with an interest in oncology/hematology. The TxSCO Trainee Abstract Competition is a unique opportunity to showcase groundbreaking research on clinical and scientific topics to experts nationwide at the TxSCO Annual Conference on Friday, September 19th and Saturday, September 20, 2025, at The Westin Galleria Houston

Four (4) leading abstracts selected by the committee will be presented to professionals across the state of Texas. All winning first authors will be invited to attend the conference, receive a monetary award of up to $1,500, and have their travel expenses covered.

All accepted first authors awarded may also be invited to display their research poster at the annual conference. Travel expenses will be covered for these authors as well.

Eligibility: First authors must be currently residing and training in the state of Texas. Only one submission per first author is permitted.

Abstract categories may address the myriads of issues facing oncology and can be previously evaluated.  

Deadline: Abstracts must be submitted electronically by Friday, July 18, 2025.
