Founded in 1988, the Texas Society of Clinical Oncology (TxSCO) is the largest oncology professional organization in the state. TxSCO comprises a powerful community of oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary care providers involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.
TxSCO is one of 21 State Chapter Members managed by the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) and is a State Affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Our members receive valuable educational content and innovative resources designed to keep them ahead of the local and national challenges and trends directly impacting the high-quality care their patients deserve.
We collaborate with internal and external organizations to support our mission of improving patient outcomes and the treatment of cancer in the State of Texas.
The desire to care for patients and make an impact on cancer care is at the core of the Texas Society of Clinical Oncology. We discuss reimbursement, legislative, research, and clinical care issues with the purpose of understanding how we can improve patient care and help one another achieve these goals.
