TxSCO [Virtual] Leadership Day

Wed, March 31, 2021
2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Central Daylight Time)

2020 brought many unexpected challenges that disrupted our healthcare system and had a tremendous impact on patient access to care. Now is the time for you to be an advocacy champion and meet with legislators to share concerns, patient stories, and push for change.

Presented in an intimate virtual setting, TxSCO Leadership Day is the perfect forum for healthcare professionals to meet with policymakers and affect change on legislative issues that matter most to their patients and their practice.

Not a policy expert? No problem! Our experts will provide talking points to prepare you for your meetings with policymakers on the following legislative issues:

  • Telemedicine
  • Fertility preservation and maintaining funding for Medicaid and women's health programs
  • Medicaid and ACA reform
  • Copay accumulators and PBMs
  • Ensuring prior authorization policies maintain access to care
  • Reducing the uninsured rate in Texas

[Important!] This event was rescheduled from its original date of February 17. If you formerly registered to attend the event in February, you will need to register in order to participate in March.

TxSCO Leadership Day is a great opportunity to advocate and educate through meaningful discussions with legislators and their staff.quote-right-60x60
