Throughout November, the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) will host the Financial Advocacy Virtual Summit, which will feature financial advocacy experts addressing topics such as financial advocacy for radiation oncology, how to track financial assistance benefits, and the benefits of having a fiscal watchdog monitoring your revenue cycle.
As part of the series, on Thursday, November 19, ACCC will collaborate with the Oncology State Societies at ACCC for the Financial Advocacy Network Town Hall: Regional Roundtables*, which will bring together financial advocates in the same regions, enabling them to share information applicable to their patient demographic.
*This educational program is in collaboration with the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) and part of the State Society Educational Series.
The 2020 University of Kansas Hematology and Medical Oncology [Virtual] Review will disseminate state-of-the-art information from several major national meetings held in the last year, including the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, and the American Society of Hematology Review.
The Kansas Society of Clinical Oncology is thrilled to exhibit at this premier event where crucial data on hematological malignancies and the management of breast, lung, head and neck, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers will be delivered for integration into clinical practice.

Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas comprise three of the four states within the Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) Medicare Jurisdiction. To better serve cancer team members within their respective states, the Iowa Oncology Society, the Missouri Oncology Society, and the Kansas Society of Clinical Oncology are partnering to host the Tri-State Cancer Summit a one-day forum which will focus on the reimbursement issues and policy priorities that directly impact cancer practice operations and high quality patient care.
This collaborative Summit, held at the Sheraton at Crown Center in Kansas City, MO, will provide a platform for education and networking for all members of the cancer care team. The Summit will begin with a Networking Reception on Thursday, May 20, and educational content will be presented on Friday, May 21.
