This event has been planned and implemented with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Institute for Medical and Nursing Education, Inc. (IMNE) and the Kansas Society of Clinical Oncology. IMNE is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. IMNE designates this live activity for 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas comprise three of the four states within the Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) Medicare Jurisdiction.

To better serve cancer team members within their respective states, the Iowa Oncology Society, the Missouri Oncology Society, and the Kansas Society of Clinical Oncology are partnering to host the Tri-State Cancer Summit a one-day forum which will focus on the reimbursement issues and policy priorities that directly impact cancer practice operations and high quality patient care.

This collaborative Summit, held at the Sheraton at Crown Center in Kansas City, MO, will provide a platform for education and networking for all members of the cancer care team. The Summit will begin with a Networking Reception on Friday, May 15. Educational content will be presented on Saturday, May 16.

 

CME/CE Accreditation and Credit Designation Statements

This educational activity will award continuing education contact hours for physicians and nurses. MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program are also available.
