Since his own diagnosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in 2005, Dr. Brian Koffman has dedicated himself to educating and supporting the CLL community. As Chief Medical Officer of the not-for-profit CLL Society, Dr. Koffman will present findings from the largest survey of this patient population, and an overview on the management of CLL with an emphasis on new directions in treatment based on the latest data from the 2018 ASH Annual Meeting, including the ECOG and ALLIANCE trials.
This symposium is held in conjunction with the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Regional Lecture Series, a deliverable of the Multidisciplinary Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Care education project.
