Educational Award for Allied Health Professionals

About the award

An important part of the Rocky Mountain Oncology Society's mission is to demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the educational needs of allied health professionals, including advanced practice providers, nurses, nurse practioners, and pharmacists, who are vital to the delivery of high-quality patient care across Colorado.

To this end, we are pleased to present the Educational Award for Allied Health Professionals, a $2,000 prize created to support the professional development of RMOS Associate Members. This award can be applied to the attendance of an official ASCO Direct Highlights conference or other applicable meeting of the recipient's choosing, including but not limited to; the American Society of Hematology (ASH), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), or Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC). 

All applications will be reviewed by a subcommittee of members from the RMOS Board of Directiors. Up to ten awards of $2,000 each will be given.

Award Qualifications

  • Applicant must be an allied health professional who is interested or involved in the care of cancer patients.
