The Tennessee Oncology Practice Society (TOPS) is excited to host a special virtual program to educate advanced practice providers (APPs) on current and emerging policy issues.
Led by APP Liaison on the TOPS Board of Directors, Lauren Welch, MSN, NP-C, AOCNP, Tennessee Oncology, this can't-miss program will feature a discussion of the key players on the Tennessee House and Senate committees, the recent PBM bill, upcoming state laws around telemedicine, and more!
Intended audience: Pharmacists, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, certified nurse midwives, and clinical nurse specialists. You do not need to be a TOPS member to attend!
Over the course of several weeks, TOPS has been actively monitoring the emergence and spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant. Despite our best efforts to convene in person while keeping your health and safety at the forefront, recent developments have ultimately made it the right decision to pivot our event—scheduled for Thursday, October 28 in Nashville—to an engaging, fully virtual program we are sure you will enjoy.
Although we were hopeful to reconnect with you in person, we are pleased to offer timely and compelling education in a format that accommodates your busy schedule—and the schedule of those who may not have otherwise been able to participate.
As we currently work with our board of directors and stakeholders to fine-tune the details of our virtual program, please check back for more information and registration, coming soon. In the meantime, if you made travel arrangements and/or hotel accommodations at The Hutton Hotel, please be sure to cancel them.
