While state legislatures may be adjourned for the season, oncology state societies, national professional organizations, and coalition groups continue to advocate on behalf of patients. Legislation to support fertility preservation for patients with cancer has been a continuing priority for HSCO, with legislation pushing for insurance coverage first introduced in 2012.
