The Empire State Hematology & Oncology Society (ESHOS) is the largest oncology professional organization in New York. Formally known as the New York State Society of Medical Oncologists & Hematologists, ESHOS unifies the educational needs of cancer care professionals from upstate to downstate, and brings together the multidisciplinary membership of the Hematology-Oncology Managers of New York and Upstate New York Society of Medical Oncology and Hematology.
As a Chapter Member of the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) and a State Affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), our members receive valuable educational content and tools designed to respond to national challenges and trends.
Along with 20 other ACCC State Chapter Members that comprise the Oncology State Societies at ACCC, we collaborate with internal and external organizations to support the important work of healthcare professionals and improve the patient experience across the country.
ESHOS is the only organization advocating for the concerns, interests, and welfare of all members of the hematology and medical oncology community in the Empire State. ESHOS has succeeded in bridging the upstate and downstate divide, uniting private practice and full-time professionals.
