I have been part of this state society since 1997, and the greatest gift of serving all these years has been the sense of community amongst all of us in Virginia through our state association. Not only do we bring in relevant speakers to our conferences to discuss topics that are timely and important to all, but we are able to talk amongst ourselves and realize that we are all going through similar challenges together.
