We are seeking a fourth hematologist/oncologist to join our team of experienced physicians in this busy hospital-owned practice. Call is 1:4. 24-hour call runs Monday - Monday. Physicians see own patients during the day and on-call doc takes nights and weekends. Triage Nurse takes daytime call. APPs do not participate in call. Providers are seeing 15-20 patients/day. Average 1-3 hospital patients/day. Hospital Medicine team admits patients; you are the consulting physician. Staff includes 2 NPs, 3 PAs, 1 Radiation Oncologist, 1 Dosimetrist, 1 Physicist, 10 RNs, 7 LPNs, 1 Social Worker, 1 Clinical Research coordinator, 3 Nurse Navigators, 4 Office Specialists, 2- Full-time Certified Tumor Registrars.  Onsite Services include: labs, pharmacy, specialty retail specialty pharmacy, Bone Marrow Biopsies, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.  Transplants and acute inductions are referred out.
