Please note: Doxorubicin Liposomal (Doxil) is indicated for Breast. This indication was inadvertently left out of the May 2004 issue. Please note: The exact wording for the US Pharmacopeia's new indication for Rituximab should read: Re-Induction treatment of Indolent Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The off-label use for Thalidomide in myelodysplastic syndromes was inaccurately reported on the US Pharmacopeia’s web site, and subsequently in ACCC’s February Compendia-based Drug Bulletin. Thalidomide was voted "Acceptance not established" by USP medical experts for myelodysplastic syndromes. Both USP and ACCC regret any inconvenience this has caused.
