Message from the President

Hello and Welcome to the Texas Society of Clinical Oncology

Our website is meant to function for one purpose—to provide our members access to meaningful, current and truly helpful information. The clinical as well as business aspects of oncology change almost daily and now more than ever, it is a required that we stay in-tune to, and ahead of the array of factors we are expected to understand and apply. With the infinite and instant access to information, it has become increasingly difficult to discern the value and appropriateness of what we see and hear. Clinical decisions have to be made and often are impacted by business, coverage and/or regulatory issues. TxSCO is committed to adding clarity, providing access to answers, and being a voice for our concerns. Our website is now, and will always be a work-in-progress to address these commitments. Its success depends on input from many sources with our main source being our members. We will strive to address all questions and listen to all suggestions. We will provide links to sites that add context, not just content. This is your electronic information home now and for generations to follow. Please stay involved!!
