IOS Cares Program

The Iowa Oncology Society’s mission is to improve patient outcomes and the treatment of cancer in Iowa. The IOS Cares Program is a grant program designed to assist Iowa charities that aid in cancer care delivery. IOS looks to partner with allied organizations to support their vital work. Grant requests can be made up to $25,000.

Grant Guidelines

To be eligible for the IOS Cares Program, an organization must be:

  • A 501c(3) organization with a valid W9 form.
  • Located and operate in the state of Iowa.
  • Aligned with the mission of the Iowa Oncology Society.
  • Willing to provide a breakdown of how the grant funds will be used.

Grant Application Process

If your organization wishes to apply for an IOS Cares Grant, please fill out following form:
IOS Cares Grant Application

Upon receipt, staff will connect with the contact person listed on the application. The request will be reviewed by staff and the IOS Board, and approval will be emailed to the organization.

Grant Reporting

IOS wants to hear how the grants used have positively impacted cancer care in Iowa. IOS asks that once per year, the grantee will provide either a verbal or written report to the IOS Board discussing the impact of the grant.

Any questions can be directed to Brandon Lawrence, IOS Executive Director, at blawrence@accc-cancer.org.
