The Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) makes available this web site and the information and services contained herein in furtherance of ACCC’s nonprofit and tax-exempt purposes. By using ACCC web site you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of ACCC web site. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use www.accc-cancer.org.

While ACCC makes every effort to present accurate and reliable information on this site, ACCC does not endorse, approve or certify such information, nor does it guarantee the accuracy, completeness, efficacy, or timeliness of such information. Press Activities

To facilitate coverage of news generated from its Annual Meeting and its National Oncology Conference, ACCC has established the following policies governing news media activities. These policies are strictly enforced. Journalists employed by accredited news organizations attending the meeting for the purpose of editorial coverage will be granted media credentials. Journalists are required to submit appropriate media credentials as part of their registration application, including a letter of assignment from the media organization being represented. (Business cards or membership cards from news media, communications or writers' organizations are not sufficient to establish eligibility.)

Companies or organizations producing publications, videos, and/or other products intended for marketing, advertising, medical coding instruction, financial analysis, or public relations purposes may not register as media. Financial analysts, public relations personnel, oncology consultants, and/or individuals from communications, print, and online promotion services may not register as media.

  • Interview Opportunities/Facilities

  • Photography, Video, and Audio Recording
    Videotaping and photography on the premises are permitted only when accompanied by an ACCC representative. Videotaping, photography, and/or audio recording of sessions are not permitted.

Privacy Policies and Procedures

The Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) respects your privacy. This document outlines the ways that ACCC web site may collect information from you.

Browsing the Site
Generally speaking, you can visit the pages of the ACCC web site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information. To learn more about who visits our site, we may track Internet domain addresses (that is, where you are connecting to the web site from, for instance from www.aol.com). While we log this address information, you will remain anonymous. We do not access or record such information as your login name at aol.com, and we use the information that is recorded for statistical purposes only.

Pages with Restricted Access
Some sections of the web site are reserved for ACCC members only. To access these sections of the site, you will need to enter your user name and password. This information is used to confirm that you are a member in good standing before displaying these limited-access pages.

Information Collection and Usage
The following non-personal information may be collected for internal tracking to create summary statistics and to identify levels of interest in the information displayed on our site:

  • date and time of site access
  • IP address
  • outside referral tracking by a licensed third-party tracking resources may be used. Tracking may include the above and:
    • web browser, operating system, and screen resolution
    • referral tracking—search engine, site, email referral, domain, and country

User Submissions
Other sections of the site require personal information in order for you to complete such activities as purchasing a journal, registering for a meeting, subscribing to discussion lists or forums, or enrolling in ACCC membership. These pages will ask you to enter such personal information as your name, position, business name and address, professional affiliation, mailing address, phone numbers, e-mail address, and credit card information. In such cases, the web forms that you will be using to type this information will be placed on ACCC’s secure server to protect your confidentiality.

You may choose whether to enter your personal information. You are not required to do so. However, if you choose not to provide the information that we request, you may be unable to complete an action online and/or you may be unable to view portions of the web site.

Use of Cookies
Some areas of ACCC web site may temporarily use cookies (data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user) to track site usage and/or for proper operation of online ordering systems. If you reject the use of the cookie, you will still have access to nearly all areas of ACCC web site. However, you may be limited to areas which do not require cookies for proper operation.

Links to Other Sites
The ACCC web site includes links to other web sites. ACCC is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. You should always read the privacy policy at a web site before revealing any personal information.

ACCC publishes electronic links to certain web sites ONLY if they fit the needs of our customers and employees. ACCC’s web site link policy guidelines include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. External links are a good source of noncommercial information relevant to ACCC members.
  2. External links must be relevant to ACCC's mission and values.
  3. If a web site or the web site's sponsor is engaged in unlawful activities or in activities that are incongruent with our mission and values, ACCC will NOT permit links to such a web site.
  4. ACCC reserves the right to reject or remove links to any web site if we find the site content inappropriate. Links to web sites outside ACCC web sites are provided for convenience and information only, and we assume no responsibility for their content. Online Forums and Billboards
Any forums, billboards, polls, surveys or similar real-time interactive web applications are provided by ACCC as a service to its site users for information purposes only. ACCC makes no representations or warranties regarding these applications, or the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any information or advice any application might contain. ACCC assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in information or advice provided.
