Whitelisting Information

The solution is to tell your email program (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook etc.) that mail from the www.accc-cancer.org is not spam. To do this you need to add our newsletter sender's email address to a "whitelist."

Desktop Level Whitelisting

Gmail Subscribers:

  • Follow the Settings link in Gmail.
  • Go to Filters.
  • Click Create a new filter.
  • Type the desired email address under From:.
  • To whitelist an entire domain (all mail from an address ending in "about.com", for example), type the just the domain name or the domain name preceded by '@'. To whitelist "about.com", for instance, type "@about.com" (not including the quotation marks).
  • You do not have to create a separate filter for each address. Separate addresses with '|' in the From: field instead. To whitelist both "jenny@example.com" and "jelani@example.com", enter "jenny@example.com|jelani@example.com", for example.
  • Click Next Step ››.
  • You can click Test Search before, of course, to make sure you did not mistype.
  • Make sure Never send it to Spam is checked.
  • Click Create Filter.

Hotmail Subscribers:

  • Select the Options links in the upper right of the screen.
  • Click on Junk EMail Protection.
  • Click on Safe List.
  • Type in or cut and paste the supplied return email address into the the box and then click Add.

Yahoo Subscribers:

  • From your mailbox screen click on the drop down arrow to the right of the 'Addresses' and then click on Add Contact.
  • Type in or cut and paste the supplied return email address into the email box and then click Save.

MSN Subscribers:

  • MSN 8
    • Click on Email Settings.
    • Click on the Junk Mail link.
    • Click on Safe List.
    • Click on Add an item to this list.
    • Type in or cut and paste the supplied return email address into the Safe List box and then click Add.
  • MSN 9
    • Click on Settings: Email | Junk Email.
    • Click on the Junk Email Guard link.
    • Click on Safe List.
    • Type in or cut and paste the supplied return email address into the Safe List box and then click Add.

Outlook 2016, 2013:

  • Right-click the message you wish to whitelist.
  • Select Junk | Never Block Sender.

Outlook 2007, 2010:

  • From your inbox, select a message from the sender you wish to whitelist.
  • Select Actions and then Junk Email.
  • Click Add Sender to Safe Senders List.

Outlook 2003:

  • From your inbox select Actions then select Junk Email and click on Junk Email Options Address Book.
  • Click the Safe Senders tab.
  • Type in or cut and paste the supplied return email address into the block area, and then click the OK button.

Server Level Whitelisting

Send this information to your email administrators:

  • Email Service Provider: Informz (www.informz.com)
  • The sending server: 64.128.103.101
