The Clinical Manager has the responsibility for management oversight of all budget, purchasing, compliance and administrative functions at the clinical practice level. Responsible for the overall direction, utilization, supervision and instruction of professional and support staff, volunteers and students utilized in the clinic(s) and the development, implementation and monitoring of all quality management programs, policies, and procedures within the clinic(s) of responsibility.
Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or one of compact states.
3-5 years experience in oncology required. Private practice and/or clinic(s) office settings preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous management experience required, preferably in oncology/infusion. Demonstrated ability to use good management, judgment, and communication skills. Should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and computer operations. Must be able to prioritize workload. Basic decision making and problem solving skills required. Must be able to project a professional image at all times in dealing with patients, families, third party payers and fellow staff members. Must have working knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding. High level of confidentiality required. Strong willingness to expand knowledge through extensive training.
Oncology Nursing Society’s, ONS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification and OCN certification.
