The RN Clinic Manager is responsible for leading the outpatient team of infusion and radiation RN team.  Scope of responsibility includes collaboration and consultation, education, clinical practice, and research , care delivery, clinical quality, staffing, recordkeeping,  communication, scheduling, workflow and budget.   In addition, you will work in close collaboration with the business operations manager, pharmacy lead, educator and nurse navigator, as well as inpatient oncology leadership and system service line leaders.  You will participate in community outreach activities, Oncology Service Line committees and work groups, and other activities as requested.

Requirements include:

  • BSN, BLS required; OCN preferred
  • 2 years clinical (oncology) experience with one year supervisory experience and/or managerial experience in a hospital outpatient or ambulatory environment (may include committees, charge role or project management experiences that demonstrate leadership qualities)
  • RN with local state License and Chemotherapy Administration Certification within two years of hire
  • Passion for leading others in a challenging and changing environment by utilizing innovation, technology and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required
  • Knowledge of adult learning competencies and patient teaching skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain flexibility
  • Consistently demonstrates the standards of professional behavior
  • Demonstrates values of compassion, accountability, integrity, respect, and patient centered focus
