We are seeking a Staff Radiation Therapist to work alongside our dedicated team of health care providers located in our Antioch clinic.

A strong applicant must be computer savvy, able to multitask, work well under pressure, and have excellent communication skills. Detail oriented, excels in a very busy clinic, independent, strong technical skills, first level critical thinking and problem solving, self-confident, good teamwork skills, and a self-starter.

Responsibilities and Qualifications for this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Deliver accurate, efficient and reproducible radiation therapy treatments as indicated by prescription. This includes proper use of a linear accelerator, use of beam monitoring equipment, TLDs, use of appropriate treatment devices, and correct chart and port film documentation.
  • Review diagnosis, patient chart, and identification.
  • Perform morning warm up QA for linear accelerator and PET/CT machines.
  • Perform accurate and efficient radiation therapy treatment simulations. This includes proper use of a simulator, fabrication of various treatment devices, including custom blocks and basic dosimetry. Along with Photograph and tattooing of patients as required.
  • Recognize and report malfunctioning equipment.
  • Mentor radiation therapy students.
  • Perform special procedures such as SRS.

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • AS Degree from accredited radiation therapy program required
  • 4 year degree in Health Science or a related field preferred
  • CA Radiation Therapy license and certified with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist required
  • CPR/BLS certificate required


  • 2 years experience in radiation therapy required 3 years preferred
  • 2 years experience using an Electronic Medical Records system Mosaiq preferred
  • 2 years Elekta Linac experience

Candidates should be flexible and friendly with clients and staff. The ability to work independently, proactively and adapt appropriately to changing priorities is a must.
