HSCO Medical Aid in Dying Workshop

Sat, January 19, 2019
8:00 AM to 11:30 AM (Hawaiian Standard Time)

On April 5, 2018, Governor David Ige signed the Hawaii Our Care, Our Choice Act into law—allowing mentally capable, terminally ill adults with six months or less to live to request medical aid-in-dying medication from their doctor which they self-administer if their suffering becomes unbearable, to bring about a peaceful death.

Attend our workshop to gain a deeper understanding of how this law, effective starting Tuesday, January 1, 2019, will impact your cancer practice, patient safety, and physician accountability.

Thank you to everyone who already registered for the conference. The response has been overwhelming, and we are now at full capacity. To be added to the waitlist, please email Cindy Tracy.
