MASCC_ISOO 2018

MASCC/ISOO Annual Meeting

ACCC will present key findings from two critical studies at the MASCC/ISOO Annual Meeting. Lee S. Schwartzberg, MD, FACP, ACCC Immuno-Oncology Institute Chair, and Tara Perloff, Project Manager, ACCC Provider Education, will co-present on the need to develop immuno-oncology educational interventions for non-oncology providers in Identifying Gaps in Immunotherapy Education Beyond the Oncology Team.

Tara Perloff will also conduct a poster presentation, Financial Advocacy Uncovered: An Exploration of Roles and Implementation in Cancer Care, highlighting the need for tailored education among financial advocates based on roles and educational background. The studies were developed as part of the ACCC Immuno-Oncology Institute and Financial Advocacy Network.
