Real-World Experience in Immunotherapy Delivery

The rapidly evolving field of immuno-oncology is bringing significant advances in cancer treatment. Integrating delivery of these new and emerging therapies in the community setting brings some unique challenges and considerations.

This peer-to-peer learning initiative focuses on practical “how to’s” for integrating immunotherapy into practice in the community setting with a focus on physical space considerations, workflow, staffing, patient education, and lessons learned.

Specifically, this project seeks to identify effective practices and resources to support the multidisciplinary team in delivery of immunotherapy in the community setting, with a focus on work process and workflow considerations, staffing, patient and multidisciplinary team education, and more.

While excitement around cancer immunotherapy continues to grow, cancer programs need guidance around practical implications surrounding the real-world delivery of immunotherapy.
