Please note: Doxorubicin Liposomal (Doxil) is indicated for Breast. This indication was inadvertently left out of the May 2004 issue. Please note: The exact wording for the US Pharmacopeia's new indication for Rituximab should read: Re-Induction treatment of Indolent Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The off-label use for Thalidomide in myelodysplastic syndromes was inaccurately reported on the US Pharmacopeia’s web site, and subsequently in ACCC’s February Compendia-based Drug Bulletin. Thalidomide was voted "Acceptance not established" by USP medical experts for myelodysplastic syndromes. Both USP and ACCC regret any inconvenience this has caused. The May Drug Bulletin reflects corrected USP information.
