I'd like to welcome you to VAHO's new website. Please, browse through the site. Look at our expanded Resource section and our new Advocacy section, which we're particularly excited about.VAHO understands the importance of building relationships with the Virginia Legislature and with other oncology-related organizations in the state. To that end, VAHO's Advocacy section features links to The Virginia General Assembly, the governor’s office, and the Virginia Health and Human Resources Department, for example. We also will have a section entitled "Issues," where we'll evaluate upcoming legislation and its impact on oncology. Our "Take Action" section will feature talking points and letter templates for VAHO members to interact with their legislators. Finally, we'll be posting information on the the advocacy activities of other organizations in the state and links to their websites.
