A New Forum for Discussion and Comments
We are pleased to announce that the MAC J11 listserv is up and running! This listserv was created by the collaborative efforts of the Virginia Association of Hematologists and Oncologists (VAHO), the South Carolina Oncology Society (SCOS), and the North Carolina Oncology Association (NCOA) to enhance communication regarding Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs) and other similar issues related to Medicare Contracting Reform processes and the functioning of the Jurisdiction 11 Part A/Part B Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC).
The MACJ11Exchange allows
VAHO, SCOS, NCOA, WVA members, and other oncology professionals in the MAC Jurisdiction 11 to send information to all listserv participants at one time and receive information from other section members in their e-mail. It provides an on-going forum for discussion on important topics such as reimbursement issues and reform processes related to the J11 MAC.
We are looking forward to hearing from you all on our new listserv!

Examples of prohibited communications include advertisements for products or services, notices regarding rental of office space, or direct solicitations of listserv members to purchase products or services. Or, rather than reprinting an article that is available on-line, consider posting a brief abstract and a link to the site. Even when a document is in the public domain or only a small portion is being reproduced, it is a professional courtesy to cite the source.
