The Missouri Oncology Society (MOS) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2002. The Missouri Oncology Society's members are physicians, nurses, pharmacists, practice administrators, billers, coders and members of industry dedicated to the care of cancer patients. Coalition members serve on the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC) in Missouri as representatives for oncology and hematology and are charged with oversite of local medical review policies.

The MOS has been making strides to promote excellence in the care of patients afflicted with cancer and hematological disorders. MOS's goal is to become a conduit between physicians and other members of the health care team.
