Position Descriptions

The Medical Director of the Oncology Program will function as the primary coordinator of all cancer programs, projects and activities within the hospital system.

Cancer Program Administrator
Responsible, in coordination with the Medical Director, for managing and directing the Cancer product line and the departments and services in the Cancer Center.

Manager of Radiation Oncology
Responsible, in coordination with the Medical Director, for managing and directing the Cancer Center and providing radiation therapy services.

Radiation Oncology Nurse
Performs all nursing tasks to patients of all ages within scope of licensure, department policy, and hospital policy.

Cancer Program Registrar
Directs line supervision over clerical, paraprofessionals and professional employees engaged in tumor registry activities.

Physicist
The Physicist is responsible for providing medical physics expertise in support of departmental activities.

Medical Dosimetrist
The Medical Dosimetrist generates radiation dose distributions and calculations in order to provide radiation treatment plans in accordance with radiation oncologists’ prescription.
