  6. What does the meeting registration fee cover?
The registration fee includes official program events, materials, social events, and all scheduled meal functions as outlined in the agenda. The only exception is the reception on Friday evening, space is limited, and so attendees are required to pre-register. The registration fee does not include travel or hotel accommodations.

  7. Do I need to register to attend individual sessions during the meeting?
No. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  8. Can I receive continuing education units for attending the meeting?
Yes. AMA, (Category 1), CNE, ACPE, and CEU credits will be available.

  9. I went online to register for the meeting and paid the fee with a credit card. However, I received an email stating that I was not registered because my credit card payment did not process. What went wrong?
Your online registration was rejected because the credit card was not accepted. You may need to consult with either the cardholder, or the department at your institution that manages the credit cards. The four most common reasons that a credit card would be rejected for an online payment include: 1) typos in the card number, expiration date, or address; 2) you are not authorized to use the credit card for this purchase; 3) the amount of the purchase exceeds the dollar limit on the credit card; and 4) the name and/or address of the cardholder does not match the information listed in the online registration.

If everything appears to be OK with the card, attempt to register for the conference again. If you would prefer, you may pay using another credit card or company/personal check. If your registration again fails, or if you need further assistance, please contact the ACCC office at 301.984.9496, ext. 215 or 216.

  10. What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be in writing, and should be submitted to Karla Smith at fax 301.770.1949. Cancellation requests received by March 4, 2008, will entitle the registrant to a refund less a $50 processing fee. Cancellation requests received by March 20, 2008, will entitle the registrant to a refund less a $100 processing fee.

No cancellation refund requests will be accepted after March 20, 2008, but the conference program book will be mailed to the registrant after the conference. Please note, registrations can be transferred to another member of your center but not to another meeting. Transferred registrations will not incur a processing fee.
