The 2011 Hospital Summit featured new content and an interactive workshop approach. Meeting highlights included:
- Suite Talk: Sharing Your Vision for the Cancer Service Line. How do you prepare your presentation to the CFO-CEO (the C suite)? What exactly does your CFO-CEO need to know? Learn new and better ways to advocate for, market, and reveal the value of all that your cancer program offers.
- A Strategic Approach to Increasing Your Revenue Stream (I). Tackle your program’s fiscal fitness, and learn how to best increase profitability. Is it through greater efficiency or better marketing or both?
- A Strategic Approach to Increasing Your Revenue Stream (II). Successful physician-hospital integration has a demonstrable return on investment and provides for strategic sustainability over the long term. Learn how strategic relationship management can help your program and its bottom line.
- Commission on Cancer Standard Revisions. Find out how an expert cancer program administrator with experience implementing COC standards is preparing her program. Learn practical strategies to meet the revised standards. Changes will impact the cancer committee, tumor registry, clinical trial accrual requirements, and more.
